**Position: Procurement Supervisor**

**Salary and Hours**:

- Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience (DOE)
- Working Hours: 38 hours per week (Day shifts)
- Annual Leave: 36 days

Recruit Mint is collaborating with an established Engineering company located near Stamford to appoint a Procurement Supervisor. The role entails overseeing the creation and maintenance of the Production Plan, collaborating closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure timely material deliveries, and coordinating with the Production Team to ensure adequate skilled labor capacity to fulfill customer commitments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the SAP Capacity plan, ensuring adherence to system dates.
- Verify that all Bill of Materials (BOMs) have the correct Routing applied.
- Manage the MRP system Resource Calendar, ensuring accurate staff and contractor records, including holidays/sickness.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely receipt of parts, meeting quality standards, labeling requirements, and promptly reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
- Collaborate with Warehouse personnel to ensure swift processing and availability of urgent components to the appropriate staff.
- Provide a succinct overview of any component availability issues that could affect meeting customer demands to the Production Manager.
- Monitor work in progress within production to address any component supply issues promptly.
- Close Production Orders using the appropriate procedures for systems, spares, and stock items.
- Record daily Production Time Sheets.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in scheduling Production Orders and Purchase Orders using MRP systems, specifically SAP Business One.
- Familiarity with various MRP settings/parameters like Make-to-Order/Make-to-Stock.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) for effective interaction with departments and suppliers.
- Degree qualification preferred, ideally in Purchasing, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Desirable qualification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply).
- Experience participating in ERP system upgrades.
- Possession of a current full manual driving license.
