**Position**:Despatch Coordinator

**Reports to**: Production Supervisor

**Role Overview**:Based at our Tallington site, the Despatch Coordinator will effectively pick, plann, and arrange transportation of complete orders to customers.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Covering dispatch requirements for the Tallington site
- Supporting the supervisor to process works orders from suggested orders through to dispatch
- Planning and organising transport to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in full
- Provision of high-level administration of all relevant paperwork, accurately and on time and in support of the Despatch Manager, as required.
- Collection and coordination and reporting of data from the ERP system and compliance with all ERP processes.
- Developing and delivering high level, detailed communications with other departments across the organisation
- Liaising closely with the Plant supervisor and colleagues at all levels across multiple functions, including Operations and Commercial when booking and organizing transport and providing all relevant system documentation.
- Ensuring all SOX compliance procedures are adhered to within the Despatch department.
- Adherence to Company Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance policies and procedures.
- Other duties a required by the Production Supervisor

**Experience and Training**:

- Experience with MS Excel is essential
- Experience with ERP systems is desirable
- Experience working under pressure in an office-environment
- Working collaboratively across business functions

- Experience in a Despatch or Transport Administrator or Coordinator role, within a manufacturing or production environment
