We aim to enhance the quality of life for our members and promote their independence and well-being.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise a team of care workers, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of client care plans to ensure they are tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Coordinate and schedule home care visits, ensuring appropriate coverage and timely response to client requests.
- Provide on-call support on a rotational basis, addressing any urgent matters or emergencies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to enhance the skills and knowledge of care workers.
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and progress.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the home care sector is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced and emergency situations.
- Understanding of the challenges and complexities of home care services.
- Flexibility to cover calls and be on call on a rotational basis.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in home care.
Level 3 in Health and Social care
