Job overview

The successful applicant will support the CRM coordinator to provide routine technical and administrative support to the Invasive Cardiology team.

Working in a variety of settings, both clinical and clerical, this role will require the success applicant to undertake some patient facing activity whilst maintaining a clerical and admin overview.

The role will involve the preparation of clinic documentations and files, answering patient and appointment queries and the issues of remote follow-up home monitoring devices.

The role will provide the successful applicant an opportunity to support and guide the Invasive Cardiology Service.

Main duties of the job

This role will involve general clerical administration and clerical jobs such as the preparation of clinic documentation, pulling/ filing of clinical files, answering telephones and liaising with other departments

Issuing of home monitoring devices to patients post procedure.

Work alongside qualified physiologists to provide efficient and effective patient care.

Answer queries from patients and other staff over the telephone and face to face.

The Invasive Cardiology Team within Technical Cardiology is an exciting department based at Nottingham City Hospital undergoing a period of expansion and development.

Performing over 12,000 device checks per year and supporting numerous diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across the Trust it provides a unique opportunity to work in both a clerical and patient facing role.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To provide a clinical and administrative service to the Multidisciplinary Cardiac Physiologists of the invasive team in all aspects of their Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) work within the pacing clinic and cardiac catheter labs.

Training will be given so you can work closely with Cardiac Physiologists to coordinate and ensure that day to day running of the service continues efficiently.

This role involves high quality patient facing and administrative responsibilities and requires use of communication organisation and judgement skills.

- Educated to GCSE standard with passes at grade C or above for English, Maths and Science or similar vocational training.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
