The post holder will work as a key member of the Invasive Cardiology Physiology Team (75%) with some commitment to the non-invasive service (25%. They will work primarily within the Invasive Cardiology team delivering a professional service, which meets the needs of the Directorate, and the general clinical needs of the Trust. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Perform a range of investigations carried out by the invasive and non-invasive cardiac physiology team. This will include 12 lead ECG, holter monitoring (fitting and analysis), ETT, HUTT, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (including IVUS, OCT, Pressure wire and rotablation) and device implantation and follow-up (in-house and remote).

Support departmental stock control and ordering Contribute to the invasive team on call rota following period of training Service Quality and Efficiency To work within agreed Trust and local policies and protocols To maintain continuous professional development To exercise initiative and judgement in solving problems and making decisions that affect own area of technical work and that of junior colleagues, whilst keeping others informed and recognising when there is a need to refer to senior colleagues. Provide support and assistance to colleagues in dealing with difficult and conflicting situations. Health and Safety To take reasonable care to prevent injury to themselves or others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. To co-operate fully in discharging the Trust policies and procedures with regard to health and safety matters.

To immediately report to their manager any shortcomings in health and safety procedures and practice. To report any accidents or dangerous incidents to their immediate manager and safety representative as early as possible and submit a completed accident/incident form. To use protective clothing and equipment where provided. Whilst the aim of the Trust is to promote a co-operative and constructive view of health and safety concerns in the organisation, all staff must be aware that a wilful or irresponsible disregard for safety matters may give rise to disciplinary proceedings.
