**The key duties for this role are as follows**: The post holder will deliver diagnostic hearing assessments which will involve history taking, otoscopy, pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and speech testing where appropriate. The post holder will be required to take aural impressions and select appropriate ear moulds for patients who require them. The post holder will select and fit hearing aids appropriate for their patients using Real Ear Measurement to verify performance, and will provide high quality instruction and counselling, allowing the patient to achieve the maximum benefit from their hearing aid system. The post holder will provide follow up care for existing service users and will provide audiological support to the ENT clinic.

There may be an opportunity to participate in paediatric clinics depending on prior experience. The post holder will keep accurate and detailed records using Trust patient management systems. For further details, please see the attached job description.
