**Who will I be working with?**

Jones And Co. Styling Opticians is a successful boutique opticians on King Street in the heart of Manchester. In addition to the retail business, we provide business consulting services for other opticians who travel from all over the UK and Europe for consulting and training with us.

Because of our growth we are currently looking to add an ambitious, like-minded, person to our high performing team, specifically to assist the owner in the day-to-day operations of the consulting business.

**So, what will the role PA to the owner entail?**

The duty of the personal assistant is to ease the stress and maximise the efficiency of the CEO by taking care of many of the details and moving parts of two growing businesses. It is a fast paced environment and there will never be a dull moment.
- Client interaction on the phone with our consulting clients, and in person at our live events and conferences that we run. You must be able to communicate effectively with a range of business contacts, business owners and clients.
- Assisting the CEO with planning and implementing marketing activities
- Planning and co-ordinating our events and conferences
- Assisting with front of house and back-office activities in the practice
- Processing paperwork and payments and posting packages to clients. Attention to detail and being organised is a must.

**What will I need in order to be considered for this opportunity?**
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with 'no excuses' is absolutely essential to thrive in this position.
- An ability to sell yourself as well as our services. We're looking for someone who is great with people and has great phone skills.
- Ability to work alone and be productive and proactive.
- Helpful and approachable.
- Ability to multi-task and keep on top of lots of details.
- Good standard of IT literacy and accurate data entry. Good with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in opticians is _NOT required_.
- A positive outlook, tons of enthusiasm to learn and ‘can-do’ attitude are most important

- Starting Salary_

£25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience plus performance based monthly bonus.
- Hours_

40 hours per week, 9am - 530pm Monday to Friday typically. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Approximately 4 times a year we host conferences and events for clients at weekends that include extra hours and some travel to exciting locations in the UK and in the USA.
- Location_ - King Street, Manchester city centre.
