**_The Role - Wedding & Events Operations Coordinator_**

As Wedding & Events Operations Coordinator you will be part of the team responsible for all aspects of wedding sales, administration and Operation. From the initial enquiry through to the day of the event you will coordinate with couples on every aspect of their special day. In addition to the focus on Weddings you will have the flexibility and drive to organise and liaise with corporate guests for daily Meeting bookings and other Sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for driving and developing wedding event business into the Hotel by pro-active sales activity.

This role will also involve organising onsite wedding fairs and attending exhibitions as required. You will be required to provide factual and informative show rounds providing clients with the full range of venue possibilities available to them.

As a Wedding & Events Operations co-ordinator you will be passionate about people, have a personalised approach, be an excellent and confident communicator by telephone and face to face, providing a warm and professional service to our prospective Wedding couples.

This is a role for someone who wishes to be a part of the operation on the day. You will coordinate with the Food & Beverage Operations team and guide our couples through their special day. You will act as Host, key liaison and Toast Master on the day.

**About you...**

As a Wedding Events co-ordinator you will be passionate about people, have a personalised approach, be an excellent and confident communicator by telephone and face to face, providing a warm and professional service to our prospective bride and grooms.

Sales experience is desirable though not essential, as you will be involved in a number of proactive activities with a focus on gaining new business.

You will need a flexible approach to your working hours which will include working some evenings and every wedding weekend to meet client appointment requirements.

You will work a base of 40 hours per week across 5 days, which will include evenings and weekends. You will need to have flexibility when the unexpected occurs.
