**The Role**
- Provide excellent customer service and care
- Ensure that the reception area is customer focused and that all point of sale materials including flyers and promotions are correct, maintained and up to date

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

**Skills**:

- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest service
- Multilingual skills are a plus, especially fluency in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using hotel reservation systems and other computer software
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest issues effectively
