The post is based at Godolphin Count House at Godolphin Cross, set in an historic mining area now captured by temperate rainforest, with Godolphin hill and amazing views in close walking distance.

What you'll be doing:This role is a varied and exciting role working across West Cornwall coast and countryside sites, sharing stories of conservation work, nature and heritage. You will lead and deliver exceptional visitor experience, ensuring there is a high standard of presentation and access to the outdoors and engaging experiences for a diverse audience. You will be coordinating a team of 60+ volunteers in a range of roles, managing recruitment and good communications so that they all feel valued, motivated and rewarded and have great times with us. You will work in partnerships, engaging with local community groups and schools and delivering educational visits. You will lead on the communication of what’s happening in West Cornwall coast & countryside, both internally and externally.

- have experience of delivering inspirational engagement activities
- have good people skills, enabling good working relationships with those in your team and across the property
- excellent organisational skills, and the ability to time manage projects successfully
- have good interpersonal skills, able to deal with visitors in a variety of situations
- have a flexible customer focused approach with experience in delivering high standards of customer service
- experience of working with and supervising volunteers
- A desire to make a difference, show initiative and contribute to the core values of the Trust
- a love and appreciation for the outdoors, and passion to share this with others.
- be a driver with a full UK driving licence
