Medical Receptionist

Working hours will be between 12 - 630pm.

Mullion & Constantine Group Practice are offering an exciting opportunity to join our reception team in a thriving, high achieving rural practice with excellent patient feedback.

We are highly regarded within the community in which we are proud to deliver care to.

We are looking to recruit a proactive, motivated person to carry out reception duties based at our Mullion Health Centre, with the flexibility to work at Constantine Surgery & our branches at Ruan Minor, The Lizard if required.

You will be expected to possess superb people skills and understand the importance of outstanding patient care. You will have a warm and confident personality, give excellent customer service as a priority and be by nature consistently positive, friendly and calm with confidentiality at the core of your work.

You will need to have recent proven reception experience, preferably in a GP/Health Care environment although full training will be provided. We operate a system of cross covering for holidays or other absence and flexibility is an essential element of the role.

Good literacy, accuracy and attention to detail are vital. You must also be IT literate as the position involves significant use of computer systems.

Duties include dealing with patients and visitors both face to face and over the telephone, liaising with other members of staff and you would need to give general office support such as scanning, filing, post, prescriptions, data entry etc.
