**About us**

The Kids Network is a children's charity based in Camden. Sign up to become a mentor with The Kids Network in 2023 Make a difference to a child's life and gain experience working with a child in Camden. We're looking for fun, committed and creative volunteers

Our work environment includes:

- Flexible working hours
- Regular social events
- On-the-job training
- wwThe Kids Network is looking for committed, fun and passionate volunteers who live or work within 45 minutes distance of Camden Town, Kentish Town and West Hampstead areas.
- Our structured mentoring programme for 8-11 year old's supports their social and emotional development before they transition into secondary school. You will help to build confidence, resilience and help your mentee to manage feelings through a series of fun and positive experiences and activities.
- As a mentor, you will hold weekly one on one sessions of 1-3 hours. The weekly sessions can be flexible between weekdays and weekends.
- You are fully supported by our Programme Managers throughout the programme and will also get to meet fellow mentors through our peer network.

**Commitment**
- This is a year long mentoring programme. We ask that you are able to volunteer once a week for 1-3 hours.
- There is flexibility between weekend and weekday mentoring sessions.

**Expenses**
- Volunteers have a budget of £30 per month. We are also able to cover travel expenses.

**Background checks**
- A DBS check is required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 1-3 per week

**Salary**: £1.00-£30.00 per month
