**Senior Hostel In-Reach Worker** with the skills and experience to assess and engage with service users facing complex needs.
As a Senior Worker in our hostel in-reach team, you'll be an integral part of Camden's Integrated Drug & Alcohol Service, working collaboratively to help individuals change the trajectory of their lives, grow as individuals, and embrace life's full potential.

We are a vibrant, collaborative team, comprising a dedicated ensemble that includes a service manager, consultant psychiatrists, medical professionals, compassionate nurses, attentive healthcare assistants, empathetic recovery staff, passionate volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.

**Hours**: 37.5 Per Week
**Salary**: £30,316.74 - £32,412.09 (Plus Inner London Weighting £3,915.44) per annum.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Hostel In-Reach Worker, you'll be a crucial part of our team, contributing to this life-changing journey. Essential skills for this role include curiosity, active listening, skilled practice, and a flexible approach.
Your role as a Senior Worker will involve working across Camden hostels, employing a multi-agency approach to assist residents in achieving their life goals.
While paperwork and attention to detail are crucial for recording information, the majority of your time will be spent working with diverse individuals, making a real impact on their lives.
**About the role**:
- Develop and deliver interventions using harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and person-centred, trauma-informed approaches.
- Deliver tailored training for hostel staff and provide support for managing high levels of substance misuse among residents.
- Record all activities on CGL Camden and hostel systems, documenting service user journeys comprehensively.
- Support co-production initiatives, facilitating access to activities and events designed with service user input.
- Collaborate with partners to develop activities and co-production opportunities, ensuring a clear role for service user representatives.
- Attend case conferences and multi-agency meetings for hostel residents.
To be a great fit for this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrable experience in substance misuse services with a clear understanding of psychosocial and clinical guidelines.
- Experience supporting individuals facing multiple disadvantages, including drug and alcohol use, homelessness, offending, and mental ill health.
- Experience leading service user involvement initiatives and collecting user stories and feedback.
- Ability to confidently communicate with service users about their treatment options, considering diversity and individual choice.
- Flexibility to work across hostels, responding to the demands of the post.
