We're excited to offer an opportunity for a **Community Recovery Motivators** this job is a great opportunity for you to take the first steps into employment and make a positive impact in our community. Recovery Motivators are anticipated to be people who are themselves in recovery in respect of drug or alcohol use or people who have experience of living with drug or alcohol misuse within their family, who would like others to benefit from their experience.

From our inspiring service manager to our seasoned consultant psychiatrist, devoted medical professionals, caring nurses, attentive healthcare assistants, empathetic recovery staff, enthusiastic volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors, each member contributes significantly to promoting positive change in the live's of those using our service.
**Hours**:37.5 per week
**Salary**: £23,400 - £24,466.99 per year ( CGL Salary Scale 17-19, depending on experience, Pro Rata)
**Allowances**: £4072.06 Inner London Weighting, Pro Rata
**Responsibilities**:
Here are some of the tasks you'll be taking on as a **Community Recovery Motivator**:
- ** Training **is a pivotal responsibility: Within this role, encompassing the delivery of sessions to service user representatives within the Camden community.**Extending a Welcoming Hand**: You'll be there to welcome individuals with warmth and understanding as they take their first steps toward recovery.**Listening and Understanding**: Your attentive listening skills will help individuals feel heard and understood as they share their experiences and aspirations.**Inspiring Positive Change**: Through your words of encouragement and support, you'll inspire individuals to envision and pursue positive changes in their lives.**Providing Informed Guidance**: Drawing on your knowledge of substance misuse and available resources, you'll offer informed guidance to individuals seeking support.**Building Supportive Relationships**: You'll nurture supportive relationships with individuals, creating a safe space where they feel empowered to explore their journey to recovery.**Connecting with Resources**: From treatment options to community support groups, you'll help individuals connect with the resources they need to thrive in their recovery.**Celebrating Milestones**: You'll celebrate each milestone achieved by individuals on their recovery journey, recognising their progress and resilience.**Offering Hope and Encouragement**: Your words of hope and encouragement will support individuals navigating the challenges of recovery.**Flexibility and Adaptability**: You'll adapt your approach to meet the evolving needs of individuals, providing personalised support that meets them where they are.**If you're passionate about making a difference and ready to empower individuals to break the cycle of their addiction, we invite you to join our team at Change Grow Live.**
