Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator will work under the direction of the Registered Manager.
You’ll design and deliver learning and development sessions to improve the knowledge and skills of staff.
You will deliver training to all staff within the organisation.
Your role will include:
- Conducting assessments to ensure all staff have the right skills and knowledge for their roles
- Evaluating how effective training has been
- Keeping training records for staff that are compliant with CQC
- Supporting staff who are completing qualifications and assessing their work.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our training team in our company, providing training to new and existing staff to ensure they are delivering quality care in the community.
**Key Roles & Responsibilities;**
- Delivering our in house induction to new Care Staff in line with CQC guidelines and Care Regulations.
- Deliver refresher training to existing staff.
- Work closely with our Registered Manager to maintain and deliver high levels of training.
- Support learning in a proactive and positive way.
- Develop appropriate teaching styles and deliver methods to meet the needs of our learners
- Training both theory and practical elements of the training programme.
- To be responsible for training compliance.
- Updating and maintaining the company Training Matrix and staff personnel files.
- Be able to assess capabilities and competencies of the staff.
- Conduct competency assessments within the care workers setting.
- Deliver 'on the job' training via shadowing shifts, observations and spot checks.
**Experience & Qualifications;**
**Essential**
- Previous experience in home care / domiciliary care
- Full UK drivers licence with access to own vehicle and be prepared to travel.
- To have an understanding of the care act and regulations.
- Computer Literate and able to use Modern Technology
- Good communication skills - Orally and Written.
- Good time keeper and reliable.
- Be able to work on your own and within a team.
- Preferable to have achieved a recognised training qualification for care, however, not necessary.

**Salary**: £27,664.00 per year
