**Office Assistant**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to assist the Operations Manager in the running of an expanding IT Support team.

This post is suited only to individuals with a good knowledge of IT Services and Solutions, with very good organisational skills. This job will require a well spoken individual with a very good level of customer service, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a very efficient and fast pace.

This position is a very demanding role with no room for mistakes.

**Requirements**:

- Good demonstrable written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisation & time management skills.
- High customer service skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- A good understanding of IT Services and Solutions.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to produce accurate work, without supervision.
- Understanding of Sage or similar accounting program.

**The keyfunction of the role**:

- Look after the technical support team, ensuring that they have everything they need and require to assist our customers.
- Take ownership of problems as they arise, and look after the customer at every turn.
- Prepare customer quotations based on their requirements.
- Handle all incoming calls to the support team and log tickets for them efficiently with details information relating to their issues.
- Monitor all the orders of customer requested hardware, and technician requested hardware.
- Place orders with suppliers and ensure that items are being purchased at the best price.
- Assist the Operations Manager with invoicing to customers, document drafting, postage and general duties.
- Manage our asset register ensuring that all hardware is tagged and logged before being shipped out to a customer.

**Working with Ontech -**

Ontech is a business providing Managed IT Services and Support to customers needing an IT Department.

The IT Team is very unique, highly skilled and truly dedicated to the role that they hold with Ontech.

You will work alongside the entire team, primarily assisting the Operations Manager with all aspects surrounding the running of the IT Department.

We strive for perfection and have no room for error.

We have a 5 star customer satisfaction rating and work our absolute best to ensure we keep this.

You may at times be required to travel between some of our other sites.

The standard hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 08:00 until 17:00. However for you to succeed in this role, you will need to always be flexible with these hours.
