**Who You Are**:

- You have a curatorial ethos of collections accessibility balanced with conservation. Adept at navigating bibliographic tools, you use knowledge of social, cultural and photographic histories to read and connect visual materials.

**Your Next Challenge**:

- Involved in all aspects of library care and engagement, you will join a team entrusted with the management of the world’s largest picture library. You will provide expert information and research services for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collections maintenance and research: sourcing and presenting relevant materials for visiting researchers and PR enquiries; uncovering and assessing unpublished materials to expand the archive’s coverage and representation of diverse narratives; updating and maintaining the collections database and digital records
- Conservation: assisting the conservator with the rehousing of print and negative collections - identifying, cataloguing and handling of vulnerable materials
- Library care: re-filing and classifying of originals across various analogue media in such a manner that enables users to efficiently locate, store, and retrieve visual content
- Archive Tours: occasional cover hosting visiting groups of clients and students

**What You'll Need**:

- Relevant research or library experience
- Knowledge of analogue visual media
- Basic knowledge of the Getty Images Archive collections and visual content library
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop and PowerPoint
- User experience of Instagram, producing reels, stories and posts
- Ability to work autonomously and with others in both your local team and across the wider business
- Strong copywriting and sub-editing skills
- Experience of social media scheduling software is desirable
