About the Role

The Curatorial and Collections Assistant will provide collections care and curatorial assistance across the Science Collections, supporting teaching and research requirements. This role will work collaboratively with the wider Museums and Cultural Programmes team on collections-wide projects as needed.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with experience in museum or study room settings, particularly with collections of human remains. Key skills and experience include:

  • Collections care and documentation, including object handling, cataloguing, and labelling.
  • Experience working with and handling a wide range of fragile, heavy, and valuable artworks and objects.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations, including the UCL Pathology Museum and the Science Collections, Bloomsbury Campus.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing collections care and curatorial assistance across the Science Collections.
  • Supporting teaching and research requirements, including working with students and researchers.
  • Collaborating with the Museums and Cultural Programmes team on collections-wide projects.
