Purchasing Administrator

**Job description**
We are currently searching for a Purchasing Administrator to join our Purchasing department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to kick start their career in one of the fastest growing Workwear and PPE supply companies.
**Hours of Work**
Monday - Friday 0800-1700
Overtime as and when required
**Job Purpose**
Support the Junior Buyer and Purchasing Manager to deliver the day to day supply chain.

- Desire to develop in a supply chain role in a fast paced environment
- Good organisational skills
Desirable:
- Previous Experience in a Purchasing/Buying or Administration role
**The Job**
- Fulfilling the General Administration tasks for the department to deliver the administrative objects.
- Raise and process purchase orders for suppliers
- Follow up and resolve any invoice enquiries
- Follow up and report any discrepancies
- Follow up on order confirmations with suppliers
- Monitor open P/O's to ensure stock arrives and discuss any issues with suppliers
- Assist Purchasing Manager in monitoring spend against targets
- Assist in the range plan and product selection
- Liase with Sales and be responsible for expediting PO’s
- Liaise with Store and Sales teams to ensure stock arrival dates are communicated.
- Ensure all supplier information, Backorder date, pricing etc is accurate on our MRP system.
Salary dependant on experience

**Salary**: £21,700.00-£25,000.00 per year
