**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have the exciting opportunity to join our bright and friendly Finance team as Purchase Ledger Clerk.

With the support of the wider Finance team, you will play a key role in the organisation by taking responsibility for inputting invoice and credit notes into the company ERP system. You will make an impact by making sure that supplier transactions are approved in line with company policies and procedures whilst ensuring agreed payment terms are being adhered too. You will use your attention to detail to process both out of pocket and credit card expenses into the ERP system.

You will have the opportunity to build strong rapport with both internal and external customers to ensure that the business continues to have exceptional and effective relationships with all supplies to the organisation.

You will be working Monday-Friday, 9-5 and will be based in our Head Office in Banbury. You will have the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week on average, dependant on business needs.

**HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE**
- Inputting supplier Invoices/Credit notes into the ERP system
- Controlling payment terms - ensuring we have agreed terms and adhere to in the ERP system
- Completing getting to know your supplier checks
- Using credit reference agency account to ensure supply as going concern
- Producing payment runs with all authorised spend
- Processing credit cards and out of pocket expenses in line with company polices
- Assisting with production/maintenance of contracts register
- Ensuring that remittances are being sent with each payment/ through the system
- Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Company

**THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING**
- Previous experience working with finance administration, preferably within a Purchase Ledger function
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to develop solutions and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Basic level of experience in Microsoft Excel
- Self motivated with a positive and can-do attitude

- A salary of £22,000 - £25,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday rising to 27 with length of service, plus bank holiday
