**Job title**: Financial Inclusion Lead

**Salary**: £36,410.81 per annum

**Location**: L11 2SF (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Neighbourhood Manager, this role will involve providing specialist and complex advice to our team of Welfare Benefits Officers and monitoring the quality of our Welfare Benefits service. The role will also include developing relationships with our partners and stakeholders to maximise the financial resilience of our customers and leading on financial inclusion initiatives across our communities.

The post holder will be a specialist source of advice in relation to Welfare Benefits and provide specialist support to our Neighbourhood teams, specifically for the Welfare Benefits Officers within Cobalt. The post holder will ensure we are responding to changing legislation and supporting our customers through these changes, and that we are developing our service in line with government legislation, case law and best practice. In addition, the post holder will promote financial resilience across our communities leading on information campaigns and awareness and identifying relevant grants for our customers. The post holder should be well adapt at working within a team and building positive, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, that will not only benefit Cobalt but our customers.

Cobalt’s standard working week is 35 hours Monday to Friday. At Cobalt we work in an agile manner and you can expect to work both at home and in the office based on business needs and our commitment to enabling staff to work flexibly.
