**Salary**:
Depending on experience

Shift Monday to Friday:
8.30am - 5.00pm

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deal will all customer telephone queries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure all new orders are entered accurately and processed accordingly
- Have full understanding of the whole DHL Express shipping process and the AX processing of delivery notes and invoices to assist other team members where required
- Ensure that actual inventory correlates with electronic records, these tasks will also include aisle counts to support the stock inventory levels.
- Assist with physical improvements to the Stores area, such as layout, ergonomics etc as part of the Stores team
- Ensure the stores area is clean, tidy and organised at all times, making the best use of available space
- Assist with picking and packing of Spares Parts orders from storage locations within the warehouse.
- Also assist with unboxing/un-crating of larger shipments where necessary

**Specific Duties**
- Process new orders and quotes within AX system
- Sending order confirmations to customers within 24 hours (when a confirmed shipping date cannot be provided an order acknowledgement is to be sent. Shipping dates to be provided when available).
- Arrange transport for collection and drop off of goods (sameday requests, next day DHL Shipments)
- Take ownership of the service exchange programme by booking in items and allocating items once available from the Workshop team
- Assist with the picking, packing and preparation of orders for despatch

**Selection Criteria**
- NVQ in Customer Service or equivalent would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a customer service role would be advantageous
- Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food and packaging) is advantageous
- Knowledge of sales order processing and invoicing
- Able to multi task, be flexible and work under pressure
- Able to develop, build and maintain strong relationship with management, co-workers, suppliers and clients
- Self-motivated and driven, able to look ahead and prepare for upcoming tasks
- Identification with tna values including being a team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treat people with dignity and respect
- A fork lift license would be advantageous
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Able to problem solve and make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Computer literacy in MS Word & Excel
- Additional language skills would be advantageous
