Assistant Business Administrator/receptionist

Northumbria University Nursery requires an Assistant Business Administrator/Receptionist to assist in providing exceptional customer service and contribute to the smooth and effective operation of the company’s administration and financial systems.

**Salary**: National Minimum Wage/ National Living Wage (depending on age)
The post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working a shift system between the hours of 7.45 to 18.15 to meet the operational needs of the nursery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service and provide outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to parents, visitors and external agencies.
Maintaining appropriate files and records systems, both manual and computerised, relating to the activities of the Company.
Arranging meetings/activities/events and maintaining diaries, organising travel and accommodation arrangements as required.
Using appropriate technology and administrative skills to generate correspondence, financial spreadsheets, statistical returns and other documents, as required.
Undertaking general administrative duties, to include ordering of nursery supplies, distribution of post, photocopying and maintenance of photocopying facilities and control of stationery supplies.
Location: The post is based at City Campus East
