Fleet Administrator

SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Solihull (B37) who are looking for a Fleet Administrator
30 hours per week Monday to Friday
Hybrid - 1 Day working from home
£21,600 + Private Medical
Job role:
Ordering & sourcing new vehicles and managing the return/disposal of vehicles in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Researching opportunities to introduce “greener” vehicles across the fleet.
Maintaining the fleet budget and ensuring best value is maintained with a focus on improving cost efficiency.
Forecasting ongoing demand for all vehicles and price trends.
Negotiating contracts and service agreements with suppliers as well as creating and maintaining positive relationships with current and new suppliers.
Drafting and implementing of effective policies regarding fleet operations.
Managing accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services.
Ensuring on/off hire process is managed effectively and damages/losses are recovered.
Management of fuel cards including fuel costs and usage, monitoring fuel card reports to prevent misuse, ordering replacement fuel cards where required and ensured they are distributed correctly.
Monitor the effective use of the fuel / electric charging mileage expense process
Managing strict vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimise downtime and maintaining accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services.
Ensuring compliance with grey fleet insurance, MOT and service records for personal vehicles used for business.
Arranging and maintaining driving licence checks.
Overseeing the introduction and approval of new drivers including driver documentation compliance.
Organising and monitoring driver training modules to ensure compliance.
Previous fleet experience could be as part of your role
Good Excel skills
