Although they are an established business they are constantly looking to evolve and improve their service. They are looking to strengthen their existing team by the addition of an experienced Office Administrator.
Now is an exciting time to join the team as they look to expand the business after securing several long-term contracts. The role offers flexible working from a contemporary and stylish working environment that provides opportunities for leisure and social interaction.
Our client celebrates 40 years in business this year as a leading supplier and installer of carpets, carpet tiles, luxury vinyl and safety flooring in a range of commercial and residential environments nationwide.
**What we need from you as an Office Administrator**:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Office Administrator, or other business support role
- IT skills Microsoft Office (Xero desirable but not essential)
- Self-motivated and driven
- Resilience
- Effective communication skills - including both verbal and written
- Good presentation skills and telephone manner
- The ability to influence and negotiate with others
- Commercial awareness
- Numerical skills
**What the role involves**:
You will be responsible for organising and coordinating all admin and support functions across the business, including:
- Data entry and general office administration
- Processing purchase orders and requisitions
- Creating and generating reports / spreadsheets
- Overseeing fleet management bookings
- Making travel arrangements for staff
- Updating company policies and procedures
- Overview of Health & Safety
- Undertaking reception duties in the absence of the receptionist
- Participating in team meetings and reporting to Management on sales progress and targets
**Salary/Hours**:£25,000 per annum. **Hours**: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week between 8.30am-5pm.
