- This role is categorised as a _**_roam_**_ role. Roaming roles are a mixture of home and hub working with, in some instances, a degree of being out and about delivering services to customers. Your working day will be determined by what you need to do and where you need to go to maximise your productivity. This means that you could start and finish your day in different places depending on what you need to do, so we’ll support you working from a variety of locations.**The Role**:
Effective assurance and compliance arrangements are fundamental to our governance arrangements and regulatory status and ultimately our success, ensuring we can demonstrate the organisation is well managed.

The Assurance Business Partner will be a key member of our Assurance and Compliance team, with responsibility for reviewing, improving, and supporting all elements of our strategic assurance framework, including our policy framework, our business continuity arrangements, our assurance, and transparency reporting and supporting the Audit and Risk Committee.

Working with the Director of Governance and the Head of Assurance and Compliance, you’ll also need to collaborate and communicate effectively across the business providing professional and proactive support to the assurance and compliance function.

Our agile working approach enables colleagues to work flexibly and remotely, with the requirement for some office working to meet operational needs.

**The Person**:
We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate a proven track record in the field of audit, risk, assurance, and compliance, who is looking for the next step to developing and embedding robust and cohesive processes that support and inform the organisation.

We like to think creatively at Thirteen in relation to our assurance approach, and we would welcome an individual who can work autonomously, demonstrating strong analytical skills, a lateral thinking approach and strong coaching and communication skills. As part of a small team of specialists we need a can-do approach and a strong teamwork ethic.
