New Position has arisen for a Project Manager to join my Client based in Ulverston

This is a permanent role working 38.5 hours Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on a Friday,

This is a hybrid role.

The Project Manager role is to manage approved new product ideas from concept to reality including the creation & update of product specifications, costings & product ranges for own brand and private label. Working with both suppliers & customers to createsuperior products that meet quality expectations to help the Client achieve profitable sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Project from conception to delivery
- Single point of contact for the wider business with regards to new projects.
- Liaise with all relevant departments to keep the project on track
- Organisation and chairing of various meetings with internal team members and external customers where required
- Hold regular update meetings for all projects with cross functional team
- To work with Sales, Design, Lab & Production to deliver & continually improve products that:

- Maximise product appeal - improving sales
- Aid production efficiency - reducing costs
- Use the best materials available - improving quality
- As required, attend Trade Fairs both in the UK and overseas
- Build relationships with suppliers where required
- Liaise with suppliers on non-conformance issues and implement any preventative actions required

Personal Profile
- Experienced in product development
- Good project management skills
- Confident, organised and proactive with a great work ethic
- Good computer skills; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, but specifically Excel & Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work in a busy, demanding environment
- Customer focused; puts the customer at the heart of everything they do
- Able to work well as part of a team but also on own initiative
- Mixture of Hybrid working and office based working
