**Project Lead**
**Location**:On-site at Ulverston, Cumbria (A range of hybrid and flexible working is available).
**Hours**: 37 hours per week worked over Monday-Friday. Hours negotiable /Part-time working considered.

**The Role**

**You’ll be directly involved in**;
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed accurately, on-time and on-budget,
- Owning the internal project lifecycle. This involves interpreting customer project requirements, generating internal specifications, briefing the design resource, and critically evaluating projects outputs,
- Reporting and presenting project outputs primarily to internal stakeholders and occasionally directly to customers,
- Working with Design Engineers and our manufacturing partners to provide product costings & validate design manufacturability,
- Reviewing and approving technical documentation & manufacturing drawings, and
- Setting up Bills of Materials and negotiating with suppliers.
We’re looking for someone who;
**Essential**:
- An engineering or Science graduate with a good degree or equivalent experience,
- Able to lead a team of people to deliver an exciting range of design projects,
- Ambitious, results driven and strive for continuous improvement,
- Strong IT skills,
- Highly motivated, meticulous and enjoys problem solving.
**Preferred (but not essential)**:
- A working knowledge of electronic circuits and electrical assemblies,
- Understand and have experience of various mechanical & electronic manufacturing processes.
