We have an exciting professional opportunity to join the Human Resources team within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board as a Human Resources Officer in the East HR Team
This will involve exercising judgement to help managers make early and timely HR interventions as well as coaching managers in their development and education to improve the people management practice of their teams, to ensure the wellbeing and support of employees.
The role will focus on operational employment relations cases (Attendance Management, Fast Track Disciplinary Process etc). This role will be involved in key HR operational activities and will develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relations sufficient to support and advise line managers on all aspects of
workforce policies and procedures to help them meet their service delivery standards.
If you are successful, you will also be involved in the design and delivery of bespoke training for managers and HR projects as required. The role provides a great opportunity to work alongside managers to help develop and implement HR strategy and policies to meet service needs, whilst being mindful of legislation, national HR policy and best practice. Given this, you will need to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience sufficient to influence decision making on all people management matters.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

**Job Summary**:
To provide designated services within the Health Board with a high quality and pro active operational case management HR service. The post holder will also provide capacity to other areas of the WOD team as required and where additional capacity is needed.
Develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relations sufficient to support and advise line managers on all aspects of workforce policies and procedures. This role will also be key to advising managers on operational case management with an adherence to high quality investigations and efficiency in the best interest of the service and employee. The post holder will also be involved in change management consultations and the design and delivery of bespoke training for managers.
To provide advice to line managers in all aspects of workforce policies and procedures to achieve the successful conclusion of case management and in accordance with the policies of the organisation. The post holder will also exercise judgment to help managers make early and timely interventions, where appropriate, when employee relations incidences occur to resolve the concern and prevent escalation to formal investigation.
