The Transcription Agency, a VIQ Solutions (UK) company, based in Hythe High Street (Kent), has been providing transcription services to clients in a variety of sectors since 1997. Excelling in its field, TTA prides itself on its high achievements with regards to customer service and quality standards. As a result of a growing department, we are looking for two further individuals to join our fast-paced and busy team as employees - one to start in the next 3 - 6 weeks and the second to start within two to three months.

**Job summary**:
As a Department Administrator, your main day-to-day responsibilities will involve processing customer orders and responding to enquiries from customers (potential, new and existing) and associated support teams, and returning completed orders to clients. The processes for the job tasks are predominantly the same but each individual order brings about its own unique rewards and challenges. There is the opportunity to be involved in quality controlling transcripts and assisting our existing court team to migrate to new technologies.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- processing client orders and accounts on a day-to-day basis;
- processing, reviewing, responding to and actioning orders and enquiries in a swift, professional and accurate manner;
- handling phone calls from all clients, ensuring enquiries are handled in a polite and professional manner;
- miscellaneous administrative tasks;
- handling minor customer grievances in a professional and confident manner and identifying when grievances should be routed to a manager;
- identifying any potential customer needs/improvements/opportunities and feeding these back to management;
- having a full understanding of company policies and procedures related to this position.

- have critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- be flexible, and be able to work and engage well within a team;
- have good communication skills and be able to liaise competently and confidently with customers whilst remaining professional in sometimes challenging circumstances;
- be required to maintain a clean DBS check.
- have a friendly and professional demeanour and a strong disposition due to the nature of some of the work content; and

Pay: £11.44-£13.00 per hour
