**THE JOB**:
We are looking for a responsible Bookkeeper / Administration Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and finance related tasks.

Knowledge/experience with QuickBooks Online will be beneficial as you:

- Enter invoices and expenses
- Raise invoices, credit notes, statements and financial reports
- Reconcile transactions
- Track and record petty cash spending
- Assist with staff data (tax, overtime, leave) and payroll preparation
- Resolve outstanding balances and account queries
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and yearly VAT returns
- Monitor supplier payment terms and schedule payments
- Ensure financial records are up to date

You will be working with a highly experienced, friendly team and receive a warm welcome and introduction to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Qualified _or_ Experienced in bookkeeping / financial administration
- Knowledge of QuickBooks online (or similar with a willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in MS Office (SharePoint, Teams, Excel)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Polite and helpful manner when handling queries

**WORKING HOURS / SALARY**:

- Full time Monday - Friday / _Part time (approx. 20 hours per week) available_
- Full time 09:00 - 17:00 / _Part time flexible (e.g. around school hours)_
- Full time salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per year (depending on experience) - _The pro rata equivalent will be offered to part time staff_
