We have a new opportunity to join our Manufacturing and Construction teams. Based in Lympne but with some supported trips to UK construction sites and our manufacturing sites in Dover, this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business, learn practical HSEQ knowledge and develop your interpersonal skills.

The ethos in our fantastic workspace is informal and collaborative and will ensure our HSE culture continues to develop aligned to your hands-on approach to Health, Safety and the Environment.

**The role**
- Help to embed a culture of conformity to Health & Safety across the business.
- Work with manufacturing and construction personnel to learn and promote HSE best practises e.g. factory / site housekeeping, safe working.
- Work with the construction teams to audit and inspect UK sites, its contractors, work equipment, and tasks.
- Carry out and assist with any incident and accident investigations and risk assessments.
- Help to create and maintain RAMs, Construction Phase Plan’s, Safe Systems of Work and other risk management documentation.
- Conduct Occupation Health and Safety surveys e.g., noise, lighting, exposure to potentially hazardous substances.
- Supported trips to UK construction sites and our manufacturing facilities in Dover. Approximately 4 days per month UK travel with no overnight stays.
- Assist site managers and supervisors with arranging machine and tooling maintenance.
- Help the Commercial Team with HSE information.

**About you**
- Some experience of working within the manufacturing and construction industries would be advantageous though not essential.
- Willingness to be involved in training, coaching and mentoring to develop self and others in health, safety and environmental knowledge and expertise.
- Experience or willing to learn to undertake health and safety audits to various ISO standards.
- Comfortable to work with all levels with the company e.g., shop floor, construction personnel, office and senior management.
- An organised and confident team player, adept at running multiple projects.

**Salary & Benefits**

Based at our Head Office in Hythe, this is a full time position with a competitive salary, benefits package and supported training, great workspace, facilities and a friendly, open working environment with regular staff events. Although office based the shop floor and construction site input requires the ability to either be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Work Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Mon - Friday

24 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)

£25K - £29K
