What you’ll do
- Provide nursing leadership and work with the Matron to enhance nursing practice and strategy
- Manage the department and be responsible for ensuring 24 hr cover for the service
- Facilitate evidence based care and act as a clinical expert at ward level
- Support and implement changes to clinical practice in the area

What we’re looking for

You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to promote a collaborative approach to caring for acutely unwell patients and will embrace the challenge of working in a busy and challenging environment, this is a full time position. If you have a strong focus on patient care, proven leadership skills and are able to work inter-professionally across boundaries then we are keen for you to join our team. This is a great opportunity to develop your management and leadership skills. Evidence of your ability to create an effective learning environment is essential. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and be able to support junior colleagues in their development.
