Build A Rocket Boy is seeking a highly experienced and driven Executive Assistant to join our team.

As the Executive Assistant to our Chief Publishing Officer (CPO), you will play a critical role where you will provide administrative, secretarial, and business support, as well as overseeing the workflow of the department, ensuring that deadlines are met and that the team is running as efficiently as possible.

Being a self-starter, you will be able to problem solve and act without prompt, using your own initiative. You will have a proven track record within a similar position as well as a strong history of fostering positive relationships, at all levels, within a working environment.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to be tenacious enough to organise and support a fast-paced department, within a start-up environment, as well as being one step ahead at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional support to the CPO and team.
- Pro-active diary management, anticipating events and deciding upon action required, acting upon key requests and resolving issues as they arise
- Ensuring deadlines are met and reports are available when required
- Excellent at dealing with confidential information showing very high integrity & trust
- Act as gatekeeper for any requests, calls or meetings to CPO

**Requirements**:

- A strong background being an EA role within technology
- Aspiring Chief of Staff
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Weekly meetings with the team to ensure deadlines are being met
- A strong team player who is comfortable working in a start-up environment
- Experience in a gaming environment is not essential but would be beneficial
- Based in Edinburgh would be beneficial but not essential?
