**Attendance Officer**
Grade 8, Point 12 - £24,496 with possible increments to £28,371 per annum
(£20,381 progressing to £23,929 pro rata)
35 hours per week (term time only plus inset days)
We looking to appoint someone to manage our attendance programme to ensure that student absence is carefully monitored and that timely interventions are made when necessary. You will work closely with the pastoral team but also have direct involvement with students and parents.
The Thomas Hardye School is part of a growing multi-academy trust, so there is plenty of potential for progression and development in the role.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to establish good working relationships with a range of people, and competency working with ICT and management information systems. Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, particularly if this involved attendance management.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.
The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
