This post offers the flexibility of working in a hybrid way by working from home with the occasional visit to the office based in Dorchester.

The team supports child protection conferences and offers the opportunity to be part of a team making a difference to the children of Dorset, the process is undergoing a transformation programme to improve, and you will have the opportunity to input into the change.

**What you can expect to be doing**:
The post holder will primarily be supporting Child Protection conferences, communicating with key partners ensuring maximum attendance and attending the conference to take notes. As well as providing administrative and note taking support to the wider team.

**About you**:
We need a person with great communication skills, who is an active listener with an eye for detail. You must be able to produce accurate notes and have the ability to prioritise your own workload and be confident in learning new processes.

Being able to multi-task and forward plan are essential qualities and you will need to be conscientious and self-motivated with a commitment to our service standards. You will also need to be someone that is able to work accurately in the face of conflicting demands and be able to demonstrate good literacy and strong IT skills.
