We are looking for enthusiastic & committed individuals to join the CNWL Harrow Talking Therapies team. We are a well established service that is responsible for the provision of Low and High Intensity therapies within the standards of stepped care model at steps 2 and 3. Alongside high and low intensity CBT interventions, the CNWL Talking Therapies service also has a counselling service at step 3.

Individual & group based treatments are provided. In the past, our Assistant Psychologists have moved on to either Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training or Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) training.

The overall aim is for the post holder is to support & enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing psychological assessment of a routine nature, under the direct supervision of a qualified high intensity therapist/psychologist drawing on their supervisor’s expertise and intervention as & when advised and directed.

Applicants must have clinical experience of delivering psychological interventions in a mental health setting in order to be shortlisted for this position. Applicants with psychology qualifications who have not worked in a mental health setting will not be shortlisted.

The post holder will carry out regular assessments and review calls and will contribute to the duty screening of referrals and the delivery of assisted interventions within the service such as psychoeducational workshops. The post holder will work with the community development lead to create and implement digital advertisements, social media posts and co-facilitate on various community-based outreach projects.

The post holder will work with the clinical lead to analyse and coordinate clinical data and produce reports as appropriate. They will also work according to a plan agreed with a qualified high intensity therapist/psychologist and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. Additionally, the post holder will assist in the overall clinical service administration along with the CWNL Harrow Talking Therapies admin team, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, training & teaching and project work.

The post holder will be expected to participate in up to one evening session per week provided by the service both with administrative support and clinical services.

The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision and support from a qualified high intensity therapist/psychologist and work closely with other assistant psychologists and clinical practitioners within the team.

The team hub is based at 12-14 Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2SL. The Service is currently offering a combination of face-to-face and remote working (delivered either via home working or from our office base).

The team consistently meets its access and recovery targets and undertaking further projects and service innovation work to meet new demands and needs of the local population. There are clear and well defined systems for triaging and screening of incoming referrals, allocation of clients to step 2 and step 3, management of waiting lists and stepping up and stepping down clients as appropriate.

The post holder will be required to support and enhance the psychological care of service users of the CNWL Harrow Talking Therapies Service and carry out duties under supervision such as conducting brief telephone assessments, cofacilitating groups, and offering telephone reviews.

**Other duties include**:

- To assist in the conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit projects, teaching and project work.
- To work within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures, working with a team of clinical and counselling psychologists, high intensity therapists, psychological wellbeing practitioners and primary care counsellors.
- When required, to be involved in routine clinical and administrative tasks of the service which includes telephone and reception cover, and supporting the admin team.
- To assist in administration tasks, clinical data entry such as booking in referrals, in particular the collating and analysis of service data and management of waiting lists and any other duties as delegated by the Clinical Lead or Senior Administrator.
- To assist patients by participating in rota for telephone duty along with other members of the admin team, induction of patients and support of evening clinics as per rota.
