Medical Workforce Coordinator
An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Workforce Coordinator to work in our Medical Workforce Team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
**We're looking for a team member who is**:
- very organised and has demonstrable administration and support skills, managing conflicting priorities at the same time
- has great people skills with a background working in a professional or customer services environment, who can work with a wide range of stakeholders effectively
- has demonstrable experience and understanding of handling sensitive information, keeping a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality with strong attention to detail
- has an understanding of doctors in training rotations
- has previous experience of working with NHS Medical & Dental national terms and conditions, although this is desirable, along with a good working knowledge of Trac, NHS Jobs and ESR (Employee Staff Record)
The post holder will play an important role in the Medical Workforce Team, a specialist service aiming to provide high quality expert advice for doctors and dentists. They will provide medical administrative support to clinicians and line managers in relation to all medical staffing issues. This includes advisory services, and pre and post-employment procedures for junior doctors, SAS doctors and Consultants. The Medical Workforce Co-ordinator will oversee the recruitment service and pathway from advert through to employment for permanent, fixed term and secondment roles for all Consultants, Locally Employed Doctors, Speciality Doctors and Salaried GPs.
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provide services from two main hospitals,
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.
