**Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team as a Medical Staffing Co-ordinator**

**Location**: Hybrid role based between St Pancras, NW1 0PE, and St Ann's Hospital, St. Ann's Road, London N15 3TH. Work from home 2 days a week, office-based 3 days a week.
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
**Trust**: Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust

**Band**: 4/£13.44ph

**Placement length**: Up to 8-weeks with potential for extension.

**Are you ready to make a difference in the heart of the NHS?** We're looking for a dynamic Medical Staffing Co-ordinator to join our team This role is pivotal in ensuring our medical staff are seamlessly integrated and supported, from recruitment to employee relations.

**What You’ll Be Responsible For**:

- **Streamline Administration**: Manage all administrative tasks related to hiring medical staff, including doctors in training, clinical fellows, honorary contract holders, trust-employed locums, specialty doctors, and consultants.
- **Recruitment Process**: Support the end-to-end recruitment for all medical staff grades, from organizing assessments and interview panels to handling pre-employment checks and contracts.
- **Interview Panels**: Actively participate in selection panel interviews and communicate Trust policies regarding employment terms and conditions.
- **Employee Relations**: Assist the senior medical HR advisor with employee relations queries, such as annual leave and maternity leave, in line with Trust policies.
- **Compliance Checks**: Perform and re-check employment verifications for medical and dental staff, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and timelines.
- **Risk Management**: Escalate issues arising from employment rechecks to manage organizational risks effectively.

**Skills & Experience You'll Need**:

- Continuous personal development evidence.
- Strong understanding of administrative and HR procedures, backed by formal training or experience.
- Proficiency in computer literacy (ECDL standard) and experience with computerized recording systems, word processing, and Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships across disciplines and levels.
- Ability to manage expectations and adapt communication to different audiences.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
- _This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
