If so, join St Giles Trust as our **People Systems Coordinator**, where you will provide a high-level service to managers on dealing with People Systems. This role is critical in ensuring operational support to staff and the People team through supporting all manner of administrative tasks and requests related to general queries, processes, systems, policies, and general HR administration, escalating enquiries where necessary.

St Giles is a charity using expertise and real-life past experiences to empower people who are not getting the help they need, people who are hard to engage because they have been failed time and time again - held back by poverty, exploited, abused, dealing with addiction or mental health problems, caught up in crime or a combination of these issues and others.

**About this key role**

We will also count on you to ensure that all related records are comprehensive, clear, and maintained in a confidential manner and to provide training and support to managers and staff where appropriate, developing their capability to utilise the People Systems correctly and effectively. Ensuring compliance with GDPR in relation to verbal, written and computerised material handled in the People department and using tact and diplomacy in any verbal sharing of information confidential to People Team are also both key elements of the role, as is ensuring that the People service complies with safer recruitment practices and compliance.

**What we are looking for**
- Sound experience of Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries procedures and processes
- Strong IT skills, including use of spread sheets, databases and all Microsoft Office packages.
- Impressive attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrable experience of HRIS
- Already have a level 5 CIPD or equivalent or working towards achieving a higher level.
- The ability to coach and mentor staff and volunteers.
- A flexible, highly organised and collaborative approach to your work
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written
