**About the Role**:
We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our London team at AlphaSense. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the local team with delivering People initiatives across the organization and throughout the employee lifecycle. The role will work closely with the local People Business Partner in London in providing a best-in-class experience for our people and managers. Our London office is a sales hub, therefore the role has a focus on supporting our sales team and sales managers. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to begin a career in a People function.

**Who You Are**:

- 2+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in a high-growth technology organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trusting relationships quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- A strong problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges
- A self-starter, able to work independently
- Eager to learn and develop professionally, with a passion for the People function.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is a plus) and Google suite (google docs, forms, sheets, calendar etc.)
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help out with all things People

**What You'll Do**:

- Provide support to the local People team in all areas; including but not limited to employee relations, performance, office experience, recruiting, etc.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office (team well-being, office supplies, team lunches, IT equipment management, health and safety)
- Provide first level support for employee HR queries, and escalate to People Business Partner as needed
- Assist with the onboarding and off boarding process for new hires and departing employees
- Maintain confidential people records and HR systems, including updating employee information and assisting in tracking employee time off on our HRIS, Workday
- Assist the People Business Partner with ensuring HR Compliance and best practices are maintained
- Liaise with international People, Finance and Benefits teams on employee matters, navigating global time zones and cultures
- Support in the coordination of workplace events and employee engagement activities
- Assist with the development and implementation of people policies and procedures
