Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of People Operations across the employee lifecycle.

You will be at the heart of our employee experience, working with the People team and managers across the business on key topics such as recruitment, onboarding & inducting new starters, co-ordinating people processes and procedures (think probation reviews, HRIS updates, payroll data) and exciting projects such as progression frameworks and compensation benchmarking.

A multi-functional role with varied duties, this opportunity will suit an individual who enjoys an operational role at the centre of the business, a varied workload and who is super approachable and very much a people person.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR or people operations role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in fintech or technology sectors is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HR software and systems preferably HiBob and Workable
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Run the monthly UK Payroll and fortnightly US payroll processes, managing our salary sacrifice schemes, pension and general queries as and when they arise.
  • Be the subject matter expert for all thing HiBob, including regular data audits, running reports etc.
  • New starter onboarding for UK and US employees – sending out forms and liaising with our credit reference agency Zinc.
  • Be the subject matter expert for all our benefits, processing new starters and leavers across the various platforms
  • Sending employee Lifecyle paperwork including offer and resignation letters, contracts and ensuring new starters are managed with our internal Tech team
  • Always being on the lookout for process improvements or automation opportunities – ensuring we are utilising the functionality of our tools to deliver slick employee experiences
  • Supporting on recruitment activity – posting job adverts, sifting CVs, screening candidates, and arranging interviews
  • Collaborate with the wider People team on projects
  • Support any ER case work through minute taking, meeting scheduling etc.
