The Company:
My client is a well-known manufacturer with a European client base and have an annual turnover of circa £65m. The company employs circa 360 people on site at their Head office in Runcorn and has an excellent track record of growth and ambitious plans for future expansion. Due to organic growth within the business, there is a newly created HR Officer role working within the busy HR department, you will be liaising with all departments at all different levels. Your role will be to advise and guide departmental managers and ensure that all policies and procedures are always maintained and followed consistently.

**Please note this is a 100% office based in Runcorn**

Key Tasks:
Liaise with departmental managers as and when recruitment needs arise.
As well as recruiting internally, you will need to liaise with agencies on various positions and set up and manage any interviews that are scheduled.
Perform company inductions with all new starters.
Provide updates to manager on their employees' sickness records and ensure that the disciplinary process is instigated in line with the company absence procedure.
Organise and schedule all disciplinary / investigation / grievance meetings with the relevant managers.
Note take in disciplinary / investigation / grievance meetings and provide advice to departmental managers, using the HR Manager for support and guidance.
Maintain the probation review process and ensure the relevant monthly requirements are sent out to the departmental managers for their upcoming reviews.
Deal with any ad-hoc personnel issues that arise with the help and support of the HR Manager.
Provide support to the HR Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
CIPD level 3 Qualified or equivalent.
2 years' experience in a similar role.
Ability to work unsupervised.
A high level of discretion.
A self-motivated individual who is keen to learn and progress.

Hours of work: (these hours are fixed)

8.45 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
8.45 am - 3.45 pm Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
