**Technical Sales Manager - Fixings & Fasteners**

Job Title: Technical Sales Executive -Fixings & Fasteners

Areas to be covered (multiple vacancies): various territories across the UK (location with determined area)

Remuneration: £40,000 + commission giving OTE circa £60,000 - £100,000
Benefits: company car, laptop, mobile + benefits

The role Technical Sales Executive -Fixings & Fasteners will involve:

- Field sales position selling a high quality range of fixings & fastenings
- Selling to main contractors from the largest in the industry downwards, and specialist sub-contractors across housebuilding, industrial and commercial construction projects
- Majority of your time will be spent generating new business and developing the relationship where the service and knowledge becomes more important than the price
- Inheriting a patch that suits your location and/or travel preferences
- Dealing with a wide range of order values
- Attending the relevant training courses to ensure that you have a 'finger on the pulse’ understanding of the market

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Executive -Fixings & Fasteners
- Must have construction field sales experience
- Somebody on the up in their career (no journeymen)
- Must be willing to cold call
- An understanding of the different trades in the construction market, market trends and the desire to make sure the business remains ahead of its competitors
- Skills to spot an opportunity within a sales pitch, for example assessing equipment on a site and highlighting the benefits of alternative products to do the job quicker, more cost-efficiently or quicker
- Strong negotiation skills with an analytical mindset ensuring you pay attention to the finer details of products/sales
