We have a fantastic Locum AMHP opportunity based within a Community Mental Health Team in the Carlisle, Cumbria area.

The role is primarily office office hours 9am until 5pm, there will be some out of county work and requirement to shifts on a rota basis and on occasion work in progress may extend beyond 5pm.

The local authority would also consider AMHP's looking to pick up extra ad hoc shifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Community AMHP, you will work as part of a community team, covering Barrow and Kendal, and you will complete assessments under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 1983.
- The role involves holding a caseload and completing a mixture of planned and urgent Mental Health Act assessments.

To be considered for the AMHP role:

- 2-5 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
- Practising as an AMHP
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Evidence of managing with a complex caseload
