Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Cumbria Health. As a key member of our mental health service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting individuals with severe mental illnesses (SMI).

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring that they receive the necessary treatment and support. They will also be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate records, and complete regular health checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and implementing evidence-based interventions for patients on the SMI register
  • Optimizing community care and the least restrictive environment in line with recovery and social inclusion principles
  • Collaborating with the SMI team and creating mental health plans for patients
  • Liaising with specialist mental health services as needed
  • Keeping accurate electronic records of patient care episodes
  • Completing full health checks, including physical health checks and medication reviews

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer: A competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and 25 days annual leave.
