An opportunity has arisen for a 12-month fixed term contract within the radiology administration and clerical team based at Victoria Hospital, Wimborne.

This is a 12 hour contract split over 2 days providing administration services to the radiology department as part of a small and friendly team and as detailed within the job description.

The department is committed to providing a high quality, accredited, X-Ray and ultrasound service for the local community. Currently the radiology department at Victoria Hospital performs circa 900 digital X-Ray examinations, and 250 ultrasound examinations per month in a recently renovated, modern community hospital environment.

To provide an administration service to the Radiology service at Victoria Hospital Wimborne.

To provide an efficient, friendly, booking, advice and information service to patients within the radiology department.

Booking appointments for X-ray and ultrasound.

Provide advice, information and guidance to patients, carers and relatives regarding appointments, examination preparation and clinics.

To be responsible for accurate data input of all patient details on the Radiology Information System and update all necessary changes correctly in line with Trust and department procedures.
