Speed Medical is one of the largest providers of medico legal reports in the UK, working in partnership with solicitors dealing with personal injury claims. As well as medical reports, Speed Medical can also obtain medical records, provide rehabilitation services and any further treatment required following a personal injury.

**The Role**:
This role will entail dealing with a specific client/customer case load with complete accountability for ensuring all cases are progressed as efficiently as possible from creation to conclusion. As a case handler, you will be allocated your own cohort of Solicitors for which you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of processing the incoming workload but also managing your clients service and expectations. You will manage each case from inception to completion providing support and advice to your solicitors along the way. Building relationships is key in this role as the solicitors find having one point of contact essential especially when there are multiple expert reports being obtained, often simultaneously.

The Clinical Negligence Team process and monitor all aspects of a client’s claim which can be particularly sensitive due to the severity of the injuries and the types of claims that we are instructed on. **Key Responsibilities**:

- To work efficiency and accurately in line with our values and targets, setting up new instructions and booking appointments to the required service levels and specifications of each solicitor
- To take responsibility for progressing each client case on every touch, liaising with chasing GP surgeries, clients and hospitals where necessary for the required information
- To build relationships with each solicitor, calling them where possible to provide regular updates on the progress of their cases
- To work flexibly in line with the needs of our customers and the team
- To provide excellent customer service to solicitors and clients at every opportunity, setting diaries where needed to progress each case

**Package**:

- 37.5 Hours, Monday-Friday
- Flexible working: We offer the ability to work from home/office on completion of training and a probationary period
