e-Rostering Support & Maintenance Officer - 18.75 hours per week - fixed 12 months

An exciting opportunity to join the E-rostering team. The e-rostering team are currently moving another 1000 more staff onto Healthroster to complete the Trust vision of having all staff on E-rostering. This is a 12 month post to cover maternity leave. To provide first line support and advice to all system users on the functionality of the system and escalating complex issues to the right team member to deal with.

software issues effectively. Where necessary the post holder may be expected to liaise directly with senior managers as well as the software provider to resolve issues in a timely manner. To contribute to the collection and monitoring of rostering information data

**Main Responsibilities**:
Leader or other colleagues in a timely manner.
2. To support the team in acting as first level support for access and software issues for all users,
providing advice and support to ward/nurse managers and other roster creators/users.
3. To take direction from the Team Leader and other members the eRostering team relating to
the maintenance, support and development of the system.
4. To provide general clerical support as required to enable the office to function effectively, and
providing admin support to eRostering related meetings/forums as directed.
5. Liaise with IT, Payroll and HR to ensure data cleansing and system alignment in order to
realise maximum efficiency of the system.
6. To gather and collate extensive data from Health Roster and use Excel to provide reports.
7. To develop and maintain a wide-ranging knowledge of the HealthRoster e-Rostering system.
8. To develop and maintain databases using Microsoft word and/or excel.
9. To provide support to senior Divisional staff in identifying efficiency opportunities.
10. To provide cover for colleagues in the e-Rostering Team during periods of absence.
11. To highlight to the Project Team where rostering guidelines are not being applied equally and
effectively across the workforce.
12. To ensure that patient and staff confidentiality is respected by adhering to documented
procedures that support the Caldicott principles and the Data Protection Act.
13. The post holder will be expected to liaise directly with senior managers as well as the software
provider to resolve system and issues in a timely manner ensure there is a comprehensive
and co-ordinated approach to resolution

1. Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development.
2. Facilitate training sessions and develop training materials to ensure staff can effectively utilise
the e-Rostering system.
3. Arrange and facilitate training sessions as directed by other team members.
4. Make changes in own practice and offer suggestions for improving services.
5. Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so.
6. Monitor, maintain and contribute to the development of systems and system functionality.
7. Monitor and analyse the processing of data and information.
8. Communicate with a range of people using various methods such as face to face, telephone

10. Contribute to developing, testing and reviewing new functionality and system upgrades.
11. Assist with the organisation of services and/or projects related to e-Rostering and wider Workforce agenda.
