The post holder will have responsibility for the organisation and distribution of the daily workload and provide clerical support to the clerical officers working in the Breast Screening Unit. This role will ensure effective and efficient utilisation of capacity; booking screening in accordance with local protocols to facilitate the delivery of a quality patient led service within the national diagnostic target, as well as locally agreed standards.

The successful applicant will be an efficient and organised individual who is able to use their initiative to prioritise their workload, a team player with excellent communication / interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.

To provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient admin management support to the Breast screening programme and the multi-disciplinary symptomatic service.

To lead in the smooth operation of all general office functions to ensure a good quality service is offered to patients and staff and contribute to the achievement of efficient service delivery.

Offer admin support within delegated areas.

Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
